Kristin C. Jennings, LGSW received her master's degree in Social Work from Howard University and is licensed to provide therapy in both Maryland and Washington D.C. under the supervision of Jessica Gaddy Brown, LICSW.
Kristin’s purpose is to serve others by meeting them where they are and creating a comfortable and safe space for them to share freely.
Kristin specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Person-Centered Therapy that helps identify feelings of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations and pain associated with grief and loss. Kristin also concentrates on wellness through identifying compulsive behaviors such as emotional eating, mood disorders, marital and couples’ conflict, divorce, infidelity, crisis management, trauma and serves those who identify with the LGBTQI+ community.
Kristin is empathetic and understands pain, however, believes that despite tough times there are strengths to be built upon. Through coupling a strength-based perspective with a holistic approach, Kristin helps you create wellness strategies that empower you to maintain balance and prioritize self-care amid grappling with life’s complexities.
